Authentic cooking Experience


Sri Lanka enrich of tasty cuisine always to be proud of. Its a combination of herbs, spices, vegetables, rice, and fruits. Authentic Sri Lankan cuisine is highly centered with local rice gained from paddy fields. When it comes to the spotlight foods like jackfruit, Gotukola sambal, roasted cashew in a bonfire, baked brinjal achchar, cooked snake gourd, dried fish, and other vegetable dishes and smoothies are usually presented delicacy in Sri Lankan tables as meal. It's true some of Sri Lankan dishes are spicy but remember they can cooled down with coconut milk. Here at our cooking experience east corner of a landscape called Galathara, you cannot just sit and watch this, you can join and prepare your Sri Lankan meal with our team under the coconut shelve quietly. So this makes your journey one of memorable for sure.

Danakirigala


This Ancient temple is located in the middle of a picturesque paddy fields village called Pattagama. According to historical records and folklore, King Vijayabahu the Fourth hid his treasure in this area, and King Walagambha contributed to this temple. The popularity of the name Danagiri Rock comes from the meaning of "hidden treasure in the rock."

In the Kandyan era, Lewke Disease (Area administrator) renovated this through 367 granite steps to climb the top of the temple. Even today you can climb the temple across those steps and when you visit the top of the temple you can see four caves blended with Buddhist statues and artworks belonging to the Kandyan era.

The rock is believed to have been a site for meditation and worship since ancient times, featuring a cave temple adorned with fascinating murals and inscriptions. Apart from the archeological and historical facts above, it can supply a breezy vibe and stunning view. Wind catchers and nature lovers can get panoramic scenery from the top of the rock with a temple cause of this unique beauty.
